The Life and Work of David Sutalo
Mr. David Sutalo, a 12-year resident of the Stewart House and beloved fixture all across Pike Place Market, passed away in the early morning hours on December 3, 2025, after a seven-year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the love and care of his friends and "found family" until his last moments on earth, and he will be dearly missed.

×a 3-Part Day in Memory of David Sutalo
Part 1 | 1:00pm to 4:30pm: Open House Memorial & Wake at the Goodwin Library at Pike Place Market. There will be an area set up with David's ashes for those who wish to sit, visit or talk with David. David's art will also be set up as a gallery viewing, and there will be light refreshments.
Part 2 | 5:00pm to Later: Celebration of Life at White Horse Tavern. This is a gathering to celebrate David's life and say cheers to knowing and loving him. There will be pizza and other treats.
Part 3 | TBD: After Party at Jon C.'s Pad. Drinks, music, good conversation, Dito... a good time in David's honor.
